Flag Football Tournaments Overview

World Events Sport’s amateur flag football Festival is a two-day weekend 4-on-4 or 5-on-5 tournament for all ages. Tournaments run from 9am to 3pm each Saturday & Sunday. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games during “pool play” format. Qualifying teams move on to Championship Day, which is a single elimination format! Each event is promoted as a family oriented festival and and consists of special events such as the Obstacle Course, Field Goal Frenzy, and Pass Attack. It includes food, entertainment, music, special events, and a lot of football. Each participant will receive an event t-shirt.

FORMAT

FIELD SIZE

30 Yards X 70 Yards

 

 

DIVISIONS

Weekend Warrior          Competitive. Teams consisting primarily of former high school players or folks that have played organized football.

 

Couch Potato               Recreational. Teams consisting primarily of players with limited organized football experience. Or if you are not in top shape, but want to play, this is the division for you!

35 & Over                     Recreational and competitive. We’ve created a division for players who have lost a step, but still love to compete. All team members must be age 35 or over.

Adult Co-Ed                 Social and competitive. Teams with rosters comprised of at least two women. Teams must play two women at all times.

Youth                           6-8 Coed           9-11 Coed         12-14                15-17

DEADLINE

Completed registration forms and entry fee must be postmarked by July 1, 2009.Team spaces are limited and are on a first come-first served basis. In the event a team’s requested division is sold out prior to receipt of entry form, team captain will be notified of availability in other divisions. Teams may elect to move up a division, but not down.

 

REGISTRATION COST

$225 – Weekend Warrior Division

$175 – Regular Divisions

$35 – Individual Player (will be placed on team)

Registration fee includes minimum of three (3) games, admittance to pre-tourney Team Party, team tickets to Stockton Lightning game Friday July 11, 2009 and souvenir event t-shirts for entire team.
